ERP Priority List: Price, ease of implementation and ease of use are the top three priority factors considered by first-time buyers of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, according to a Deloitte & Touche survey. Interestingly, the same survey found a much different perspective among second-time buyers. The top consideration for repeat buyers: the level of support from the software reseller. It’s no surprise that as your business gets larger, you will eventually outgrow your simple accounting system. Moving your business to a more comprehensive ERP system affords the opportunity to streamline processes and provide more detailed reporting. But ERP software itself isn’t magic.
